Demo Testing of a Multifunctional Corner Mirror

Social Contribution Activities
We collaborate with Fujieda City (where Murakami Corporation is located at), we have installed a "multifunctional corner mirror" at the west intersection of Aoshima Higashi Elementary School and conducted a demonstration experiment. (The duration of the experiment was from February 10, 2022 to February 28, 2022)
The multifunctional corner mirror is designed to reduce/prevent the number of accidents at intersections from happening. It will detect cars and motorcycles when it is entering the intersection by using a camera sensor equipped with AI and alerting drivers by flashing LED lights installed all on the corner mirror itself.
This was the first demonstration experiment of its kind in Japan. We have received inquiries from other cities and other organizations. Hence, we are committed to further improving this product as one of the products that contribute to the creation of a safe society.
